Immune & Autoimmune - Lupus Plaquenil - when to take the 2. He warned that it could take 2-6 months, though, which is what I've read here too. My question. I started with just one pill a day for a week, and now am to take 2 pills per day. I haven't had any stomach upset, but have been taking it with meals. Do I need to space the pills out 12 hours, or can I take one with breakfast and one with lunch?
